Hey Beautiful People! Today I want to talk to you about the many influences that cause us to think negatively and the effects of those thoughts. I also want to talk to you about the Benefits of Positive thinking and how we can stop thinking negative and began the journey towards positivity.

My God is BIG!

God is BIG, MIGHTY, and STRONG! He is not limited by time, space, past hurts, credentials, worldly idols, money, etc. In other words, there are NO limits to who God is and what He can do for us because He is the source. All of our help comes from Him.

Matthew 7:7

To emphasize, God reminds of this by telling us to ask and we shall receive in Matthew 7:7. https://www.bible.com/bible/111/MAT.7.NIV

The scripture goes on to say seek and you shall find, Knock and the door shall be opened to you. I don’t know about y’all, but that’s a great place to praise and Thank God!

For Clarity…

One thing that I want to point out in this verse is the fact that it doesn’t tell us what to ask for or place emphasis on one way or the other. God gives us the free will to choose positive requests or negative requests. It doesn’t tell us which door to knock on. However, one thing it does promise is no matter what, we shall receive, find, and the door shall be opened.

If we take the scripture and relate it to positive mindsets versus negative mindsets, we will further develop an understanding of how positive and negative thoughts work.

For example, if our mindsets are based around negative thinking, we will reap the effects. Consequently, instead of receiving good things from God, finding good things, and doors being opened to good things, we will be tricked by the enemy. Negative thinking causes us to receive, find, and doors to be opened to circumstances and situations that are not of God.

Practice

To further explain, let’s practice inserting the word “negative” into the scripture:

  • Ask (negative things) and you shall receive (negative things).
  • Seek (negative things) and you shall find (negative things).
  • Knock on the door of (negative things) and the door shall be opened to (negative things).

Do you see how one word has the power to change the entire context of the scripture?

God wants us to have good things! Through our faith, we have the power to receive just that!

Problem Solved!

So now that we know the differences between positive and negative thinking, we can make an informative decision on which path to take.

Furthermore, by replacing negative influences with positive influences, you can simply turn the negative into a positive! Keeping the benefits of positive thinking in mind will lead you to the life you want and deserve.

Take the example above and this time add Positive to the scripture.

  • Ask (positive things) and you shall receive (positive things).
  • Seek (positive things) and you shall receive (positive things).
  • Knock on the door of (positive things) and the door shall be opened to (positive things).

Positivity is a lifestyle that has to be chosen. The truth is, “life” will happen. There will be days that you want to throw in the towel and choose a different path.

Choosing to be positive isn’t easy, but it is worth it. The Benefits outweigh any circumstance that may occur. You see, bad things don’t last forever. You have to have the mindset that if God has brought you to something, He will bring you through it. Sometimes things happen to motivate us and move us out of our comfort zones. However, you will LIVE! You will survive! One day every bad thing that you had to go through will make sense. You will look back with tears of joy and gratitude because you will have proof that God was there the whole time.

Romans 8:28

Lastly, lead your life with this scripture (Romans 8:28)- ALL things work together for good to those who love God. This will allow you to accept what comes with a positive mindset to know that it WILL work for your good! https://www.bible.com/bible/111/ROM.8.NIV

  1. Love the little reminder yet important reminder “ bad things don’t last forever” , (Romans 8:28)-“ All things work together for good to those who love God”, at the end of the day it does matter how much psychological analysis, and treatment, positive thinking one can have if we lack God in our lives, there will always be something missing the most important part. Thank you for sharing loved it.

  3. Hi! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
